Formed by Willie Fairhurst who has successfully run a managed services provider Edinburgh Computer Services (ECS) from 1991 until 2020.  ECS provided managed IT Support through the era of Novell and then migrated to Microsoft products winning the Microsoft cloud partner and Microsoft Apprentice awards three years in a row.  The business was aquired by Commsworld in 2018 and he worked for them until May 2023. Having had two years off from the technology marketplace Fairhurst Consult was formed to provide technology consulting service to assist customers who need assistance understanding the products and services that they are buying and likewise the marketplace were there is often the use of technical language and a lack of relationship to the customers business. We bring technology skills to benefit both customer and supplier through open consultancy.
